I am sharing a delicious recipe with you today that is healthy, while also whole 30 approved, paleo approved, and personal trainer approved (me)😛!
This meal can be used for lunch or dinner and has a little Mexican flare to it. ♨️
Ingredients:
1lb ground turkey (I use lean)
1 onion chopped
1 jalapeño chopped
1 can medium diced tomatoes
2tbsp coconut oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Mrs Dash fajita seasoning
1/2 avocado

Directions:
Sauté onion and jalapeño until transparent; add in ground turkey until fully cooked. Season with salt + pepper + mrs dash fajita seasoning. Finally add diced tomatoes, bring mixture to a boil, cover and simmer for just a few minutes. Serve with some fresh slices of avocado and hot sauce (my fav is Valentina's) on top!
This recipe is a great one that stores well throughout the week. You can double it and freeze too. I enjoyed this recipe over my #whole30 journey and found ways to change it up a little too: add spinach, kale, or other chopped veggies to the mix to add a little more nutrition.
