Hey Fit Friends!
Are you stuffed from the holiday and a little overwhelmed being back at work? Did you weigh yourself after the feast or maybe you are like me and waited until this morning. Did you gain? Stay the same? Lose? Well, I just read a very inspiring article in the USA Today, and I want to share it with you! It is titled "Rick Warren shares good news about weight loss". This article is about a pastor who is also an author. He not only preaches about a happier, healthy life, but he writes about it too in his new book: The Daniel Plan. He lost 65 pounds in 2011 and was able to encourage members of his congregation to also lose weight. I love his "secret sauce"..."it has five essential components: food, fitness, focus, faith, and friends." I totally agree with all of these things! It is so important to have the support you need from your family and faith. Without these key components, you may get distracted or fall off the wagon.
I am planning to buy this book and read it (in my spare time haha). I hope this is something that will inspire you too!
