Hey Fit Friends!
Hope you are feeling extra rested as we "fall back"! We are enjoying this cool morning with the windows open and cooking in the kitchen. I made fit baby some homemade waffles and topped it with apple sauce. He loves it!
Last week we went to a really fun neighborhood Halloween party, and I was asked to bring a veggie tray. I wanted to get a little creative with my dish, so I thought of different dips and veggies that I would prepare. Hummus, ranch, veggie spread, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes! Yep those are the veggies and dips I chose. I also decided that with all this being a kid's party, we needed some crackers. So I did some wheat thins.
Ok, so what is so creative about putting some dips, crackers and veggies on a tray? Nothing! So I decided to get a few small pumpkins, carve them out and use them as my dip bowls. It turned out really cute. Healthy, festive, and delish Halloween snack!
