Hey Fit Fans!
It's Wednesday!! Yay, you are half way through the week! Shake, Shake, Shake! Treat yourself and your kids to a milk shake. I prefer almond milk, but fit baby still needs whole milk. This may not be your average shake, but I can guarentee it tastes great.
This shake includes but is not limited to fruits, veggies, milk and ice. Cheap trick....right? Yes! These taste great and the kids will not be able to taste or see the veggies. I know this isn't a new recipe for some of you, but if you have never tried it with your kids, you should.
Here is my favorite and very easy recipe:
1 1/2 cups whole milk (or almond milk)
1 big handful of strawberries
1 big handful of frozen blueberries
1 big handful of raw spinach
Blend all of these ingredients together for a delish purple drink! Yes, purple...the blueberries over power the green in the spinach. Try it at home today! It's a great source of fruits, veggies, and dairy.
