Hi Fit Readers,
When I started my whole 30 journey, I knew the gist: no dairy, no grains, no, alcohol, no peanuts, no sugar. I thought, ok, sounds tough but also sounds easy enough considering my already very healthful diet. As I made my first grocery list, it was very basic: fruits, veggies, and meats. I was eating eggs and fruit most mornings for breakfast, some kind of ground turkey for lunch, hard boiled eggs and almonds for a snack, and a meat or fish with veggies for dinner. It was so simple AND SO boring. After about day three of eating the same things, I thought I was going to go crazy!
That's when I started following other whole 30ers on Instagram and got creative. Whole 30 has so many restrictions yet there is so much you can have as long as you are willing to prep....A LOT.
As I continue to post more and more blogs on my whole 30 journey, I know you will want to try some of these fantastic recipes. Below are my week one pictures that aren't so creative or exciting....now, stay tuned for some great things to come! Even something chocolate 😜
