Good Morning Fit Fans!
As I told you all last week, over the next month I am going to go over my favorite exercises for each main muscle group. This week we will target the biceps. 💪
The biceps brachii is the real name for what we call the biceps. Bi, meaning two, describes two muscles in the biceps. The long head and short head. These are also what we call our GUNS! The Gun Show! Right!!?
My favorite biceps exercises are:
1. Dumbbell Biceps Curls: holding dumbbells in each hand with your palms facing out, slowly curl up towards your shoulders and then back down. Repeat 15-20 repetitions.
2. Resistance Band Biceps Curls: this exercise is great keeping resistance on the muscles through the concentric and eccentric motion. Standing on the band, hold the handles in your hands and curl up and down. Your muscles will feel resistance the whole time as you complete 15-20 repetitions. Feel the burn!
