Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to my Fit Fans!
I hope your holiday season has been happy and healthy this year. 2014 has been pretty amazing with a new baby, a growing toddler, and a loving husband. I feel like I couldn't ask for anything more than the love my sweet family gives.
This year the holidays have a totally new meaning to me and make me appreciate the little things and remember the big things that have slipped my mind. A toddlers joy when seeing and understanding Santa, reindeer, Christmas lights, nativities, baby Jesus, and frosty the snowman is a mothers joy too! Hearing him 'oohh and ahhh' over lights and say "I want more lights" makes me appreciate each house that lights up their yards! Then hearing him say "baby Jesus" and point to nativities again paints the big picture of what Christmas is really all about! I'm loving each and everyday of this season and wishing it would last forever.
We have truly experienced many Christmas activities. From sitting on Santa's lap to going to the ICE Frosty the Snowman exhibit, to breakfast with Santa and the Adolphus children's parade, to making ornaments, decorating the house, reading Christmas books, to the George Bush Library Christmas display. Each thing we have done, big or small, the kid's smiles show the true Christmas spirit.
Merry Christmas to all if you and may you have a healthy start to the new year!
