Hey Fit Readers,
During this new year, you may be wondering which diet will be best for me. Should I do Atkins or paleo or slim fast? All of these are fad diets....they work while you do them, but once you "finish" these diets, you gain the weight back and then some. The reason people "finish" doing diets like these is because they are not practical to do for the rest of your life. When looking for a specific diet, don't think diet. Think LIFESTYLE CHANGE! Add exercise into your life and eat whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and proteins. Eat foods that come from the Earth instead of processed foods. Change for good, and if you slip up time to time, jump right back in.
Cameron Diaz has a book out called The Body Book. It was reviewed this week by USA Today and Diaz was on Good Morning America talking about her new book. I think this book sounds really good, and coming from someone with a body like Cameron Diaz, we might as well see what she has to say!
The book is about diet and exercise and how to keep it up. Diaz said on GMA that she has always been thin and used to think she could eat whatever she wanted. She then realized "you are what you eat"! She said "I was a bean burrito with extra cheese". Hilarious!
Anyway, I plan to order this book and enjoy reading about her ins and outs of diet and exercise.
