Hey Fit Readers,
As I write this morning, I am on a stationary bike....that is broken! I'm still sweating and my heart rate is up, so it must be working in a since. Definitely a CHANGE from the spinning bikes I'm used to. I know most of you are starting to get ready for Christmas! We sure are and very excited about it too. Having a toddler around the house puts you in the Christmas spirit. Most of you all probably had your kids last day of school yesterday before the holidays and the won't go back until after the New Year! Kinda scary.....but mostly fun! I love days where we spend time as a family, going to breakfast and the park, playing outside on the swing set, and chasing the dogs....mostly Fit Baby😃
So writing with mixed emotions, yesterday was our last day, for good, at Fit Baby's school. After the new year, we will be switching to a school closer to our house. I really loved the school he went to, the teachers were great, and he has learned A LOT! Saying goodbye was hard, but we know the new school will have these same qualities and be more convenient.
After the new year Fit Baby will also be going to school FULL TIME! Ahhhh where has the time gone? He is all grown up. Again, I am writing with mixed emotions. It is best for him and us, but I will miss our one day a week where we go to the zoo, or children's museum. So, last Tuesday as our last official day together before he heads off to full time school, we had some fun. We went to two different parks, chased each other, played on the swings and ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches! It was fun and a great way to spend our day together!
I'm sure looking back on this post in a year or even 6 months, I'll feel a little silly, but change is hard sometimes! Change is also good....kinda like this bike I'm riding...and sweating a lot! I hope the change in your holiday schedule is full of fun and happiness with family and friends!
Still peddling away on this broken bike...stay fit!
