Hey Fit Readers!
Do you find yourself saying "oh I eat peanut butter and other nuts because they have the good fats."?....but you aren't seeing a change in your scale or waistline? Oh, that's because it's all about portion control. Yes, peanut butter has the good fats (monounsaturated), high protein, good fiber, and even vitamins.....but just like everything else, you should eat them in moderation! These nuts are high in calories and add up fast (2 tbsp of peanut butter 180-210 calories). So, the next time you sit down with a spoon and a jar of peanut butter, think before you scoop. 1-2 tablespoons is plenty, and it gives you the fiber and protein to keep you full.
Go nuts (in moderation) and stay fit!
